Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our project core team, responsible for leading engineering efforts and ensuring the successful delivery of projects. As a key member of our team, you will be accountable for project engineering costs, time, and quality, analyzing contracts to identify project-specific deviations from our established standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assume ownership of the engineering phase within the integrated project schedule, collaborating with technical managers and the technical system manager, supported by the project scheduler.
  • Plan, monitor, and control deliverable-based engineering efforts.
  • Hold responsibility for planning, monitoring, and managing interfaces among different product teams and plant engineering disciplines.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer regarding all engineering-related matters.
  • Organize and lead both internal and external engineering reviews (2D & 3D).
  • Manage engineering deviations and changes.

Requirements

  • Earned degree in Engineering or Industrial Engineering, or similar education.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years professional experience after studies or education as an engineering manager in significant plant engineering projects.
  • Profound knowledge of metallurgical plant engineering.
  • Demonstrated assertiveness, effective communication, and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Keen awareness of pricing and cost considerations.
  • High level of resilience and a collaborative mindset (teamwork).
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and German.
  • Openness to international travel.
