As a Senior Associate - Financial Services Audit focus Risk Management, you will be part of a truly diverse, international, and innovative team that is passionate about making a real difference.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct pre-audit planning by developing a strong understanding of business processes, goals, and strategy, and perform analyses to ensure that all risks are identified.
  • Manage global client contacts and auditees, solidifying CF A as a trusted advisor and helping to manage risks for Siemens.
  • Interview clients to extract crucial information and use analytical skills to identify root causes of findings and assist clients in developing improvement measures.
  • Participate and lead audit closing meetings with management and support discussions with drawn conclusions from the engagement.
  • Drive digitalization in the audit environment and prepare Siemens for future challenges.
  • Show affinity for agile audit approach and share expertise with others to find new solutions to well-known problems.

Your Qualifications

  • At least 8+ years of working experience in a financial services function within Siemens, a risk management / compliance / finance organization of a regulated financial institution, or a financial services practice of a 'Big 4' / leading consulting firm.
  • Profound knowledge in at least one of the following financial services areas: underwriting and portfolio monitoring of large international project finance, corporate and acquisition finance transactions, financial services regulations / regulatory requirements, Compliance, AML, CFT.
  • Strong academic history, including a university degree in business / finance, ideally with a specialization in banking.
  • Firm understanding of the rules, laws, and regulatory requirements of the European financial markets.
  • Experience in the application of relevant Compliance related regulations and guidelines.
  • General project management expertise in a complex global organization.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, as well as attentive listening abilities in a global setting.
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus.
  • Flexibility to travel internationally and work remotely.
