Your RoleWe are seeking a Senior Financial Data Scientist to join our team. As a key member of our Strategic Development department, you will play a crucial role in shaping the digitalization and innovation journey of SFS. You will lead and actively contribute to different AI use cases at an early maturity level, working closely with our partners to identify key business problems and translating their requirements into AI-driven solutions.
Your Responsibilities- Lead and contribute to AI use cases, including exploratory data analyses, data preparation, implementation of machine learning models, and application of pretrained (Gen)AI models via API to extract valuable insights from structured and unstructured data.
- Work closely with partners to identify key business problems and translate their requirements into AI-driven solutions.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, spotting potential for innovation and differentiation in the financial market.
- Support our SFS businesses and functions to understand how they can use (Gen)AI to tackle their challenges.
We are looking for a standout colleague with excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills to handle diverse partners in an empathic manner. You should have a degree or equivalent experience in statistics, data science, computer science, or a related technical field. Bring experience as an AI consultant with a client-first approach, working closely with non-technical partners and translating their needs into AI-powered innovations. At least 5 years of hands-on experience in ML solution development, preferably in the financial sector or within consulting, is required. Profound experience in Python, using libraries such as scikit-learn, pandas, or similar frameworks, is also necessary. Experience with GenAI and LLMs is considered a big plus.
