Key Responsibilities:

  • Support North American agency business with correspondence primarily in English
  • Underwrite casualty and property risks, and conduct rate and accumulation analyses
  • Coordinate agency business control activities with local colleagues and partners in the United States
  • Visit clients and brokers in the United States, with opportunities for longer-term work in the US

Requirements:

  • Completed degree in economics or law, with commercial insurance training in liability insurance or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience with a (re)insurer or in the financial/investment sector, desirable
  • Experience in controlling and monitoring agency business, as well as initial experience with start-up companies, an asset
  • International mindset, proficient English user skills, and independent German user skills
  • Confident customer manner and ability to work in a team
