About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Technology Architect to join our team at Oracle. As a Cloud Technology Architect, you will play a key role in designing and delivering innovative cloud solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments and workshops with technical and business stakeholders to define and showcase the value of Oracle's Cloud Stack
  • Work closely with customers to deliver solutions that meet or exceed their requirements
  • Engage with customers to ensure service needs are being met and deliverables align with Oracle's high-quality standards
  • Develop and maintain deep customer understanding to deliver competitive advantage
  • Demonstrate commercial acumen when engaging and advising customers
  • Continuously develop and maintain knowledge of relevant Oracle products and services within the rapidly evolving Cloud platform
  • Participate actively in the internal community and contribute to the growth of Consulting Intellectual Property asset library
  • Form and maintain strong relationships with product management teams
Requirements
  • Minimum 5+ years of proven experience in design and implementation of solutions based on Cloud architectures
  • Good knowledge of Cloud Services design and delivery model: IaaS and PaaS
  • Database knowledge and hands-on experience
  • Interest in technology subjects such as Cloud, Virtualization, and Grid
  • Professional attitude and strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and self-motivated
  • Strong experience in defining and implementing conceptual solutions
  • Good experience in mobility within Germany and Austria
  • In-depth knowledge in one or more of the following areas: OCI, OSC, or alternative vendors like Azure, AWS, or Google Database Cloud Services Cloud automation tools Conceptual knowledge concerning network, firewalls, VPN, or Gateways Exadata expertise (Exa, ExaCC, or ExaCS) Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) Oracle Data Guard, RMAN, performance tuning, or migration Enterprise Manager Cloud Control Resource-Management Virtualization or OS Linux

  • Oracle Golden Gate experience
  • DevOps and Agile methodology experience
