About the Role

Adaire Technology Services GmbH is seeking a seasoned Product Strategist to establish and lead a new Technology division aimed at enhancing our client services.

The successful candidate will be an innovative thinker, collaborating with diverse teams to design, develop, and maintain Java-based solutions tailored to our client's needs. You should be adept at team building and management while proactively driving new initiatives and projects.

Key Responsibilities

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Senior Technology Product Strategist (English and German) based in Windhoek, Namibia. In this role, you will:

  • Assemble and guide a proficient team, overseeing the entire project lifecycle from initiation to completion, ensuring that all objectives are achieved within the stipulated timeframe and budget.
  • Manage project teams effectively, cultivating strong relationships with stakeholders to align expectations and guarantee successful project delivery.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in establishing and leading a technology team.
  • Fluency in English and German (both written and spoken).
  • Over 10 years of experience in project management within software development.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a track record of leading and developing cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working in multicultural environments and collaborating with diverse teams.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and/or Waterfall methodologies.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is a plus.
