IT Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager to join our team at Knauf, a leading international market leader in the building materials' industry. As a key member of our global project management team, you will play a crucial role in driving the digital transformation of our company.
Key Responsibilities- Project Setup and Planning: Establish and lead project teams, create detailed project plans, and ensure scope, budget, resources, timeline, and deliverables are aligned.
- Project Controlling and Steering: Conduct ongoing project controlling, manage daily activities, and chair project management team meetings to ensure project success.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Regularly update and report project status to team members, program management, and stakeholders, effectively managing stakeholder engagement.
- Quality and Milestones: Define and oversee project milestones and quality gates, ensuring deliverables meet set standards.
- Documentation and Communication: Handle project documentation, communicate key decisions, and ensure clarity and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
- Team Management: Build and manage global, virtual teams, driving standardization and solution development within time, budget, and quality constraints.
- Project Management Experience: Over 10+ years of project management experience, including two years of team management, with a focus on leading a diverse team.
- Technical and Business Acumen: Deep understanding of the respective area, with an engineering background and/or experience in mining and geology considered a plus.
- Methodologies and Tools: Proficient in various project management methodologies (Waterfall, Hybrid, Agile) and adept at working independently with a high degree of self-motivation.
- Communication and Collaboration: Possessing effective communication skills to align teams and inspire confidence, fluent in English.
