Primary Purpose

To drive business growth by developing and maintaining strategic relationships with major accounts in Germany.

To identify, pursue, and close new sales opportunities with existing and prospective national and pan-European accounts.

To develop and implement a process to efficiently participate and respond to national tenders.

Key Accountabilities

  • Meet and exceed annual target revenue, profit, and unit growth.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective sales opportunities.
  • Manage and secure existing accounts, with a focus on penetration and growth.
  • Meet and fulfill customer expectations and applications.
  • Manage, coordinate, and follow tender processes.
  • Identify, develop, and bring new accounts into contract.
  • Build internal and external relations through sales support, GE Finance, dealers, and aftermarket to influence support and maximize sales.

Knowledge & Skills Required

  • Business Management - BS/BA Degree or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of complex solution selling, a structured sales approach.
  • Product, application, and industry knowledge.
  • Professional sales experience involving major accounts or corporations with proven results.
  • Creative and persistent business development skills.
  • Prospecting and negotiation with multiple points of influence.
  • Presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience with responding to tender requests, national and pan-European.
  • Industry relevance.
