Salary

The salary for this position is approximately €55,000 - €65,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience, in accordance with the collective labour agreement of the State of Hessen (E 13 TV-H).

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to support the research projects of the LOEWE Excellence Professorship. As a Research Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support, coordinating projects, and communicating with funding organizations and scientists.

Your tasks will include:

• Independent preparation of data, presentations, text modules, templates, and reports
• Coordination between involved scientists
• Communication with funding organizations and their administrations
• Job and personnel planning
• Monitoring compliance with financial plans
• Coordination of content for funding applications
• Contribution to preparation of final reports
• Obtaining ethical approvals
• Organization of seminars, conferences, and workshops

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A scientific university degree (master or equivalent) in natural sciences or medicine/veterinary medicine
• Knowledge of the research landscape in medical research and experience in 'good scientific practice'
• Knowledge of science management and preparation of research proposals
• Excellent computer skills and experience in experimental or administrative research work
• Excellent English language skills and German language skills are advantageous
