European Legal Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced European Legal Associate to join our team at Goodcang Logistics.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented professional to work as a legal advisor for our European operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert legal guidance and support to our business units across Europe.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary point of contact for EU subsidiaries in Group Legal Department, ensuring timely and effective communication and coordination.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including commercial, employment, and other agreements, to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Provide daily operational and business legal advice to EU subsidiaries, addressing complex issues and concerns.
- Assist in handling arbitration and dispute resolution matters, working closely with external counsel and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct thorough research on business-related legal issues, maintaining and updating our legal inventory management system.
- Translate complex legal concepts and regulatory instructions into plain language, facilitating effective communication with non-legal stakeholders.
- Cultivate strong relationships with business departments, providing expert legal advice and support to drive business growth and success.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong educational background in Chinese law and a recognized law degree from a reputable European institution.
- Obtained a legal professional qualification in China or the EU.
We value proficiency in both English and Chinese languages, as well as fluency in official EU member state languages (e.g., French, German). Experience working as a lawyer in a law firm or corporate setting is essential, with 3-5 years of experience preferred.
You should possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with a service-oriented mindset, are also essential for success in this role.
