Senior Environmental Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Environmental Health Specialist to join our team at Amazon Deutschland Transport GmbH - B78. As a key member of our Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) team, you will play a crucial role in driving improvements on-site and at a regional level.

As a Senior Environmental Health Specialist, you will be responsible for managing health and safety standards, improving functionality, and efficiency. You will also be responsible for implementing changes in response to employee feedback or seizing opportunities to continuously make process improvements.

The WHS team plays a vital role in keeping our people mentally and physically well at work. Our team works closely with managers, associates, and local governments across our sites, ensuring compliance with Amazon's policies and legal regulations, and that our workplaces are safe.

• Manage health and safety programs while regularly collaborating with other teams and stakeholders across the company.
• Analyze data reports and root causes using internal reporting tools to provide leadership with the information they need to make safety-related decisions.
• Provide guidance and arrangements for health and safety projects and policies.
• Drive programs to improve technical equipment specifications and designs within Amazon.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A degree-level education and 'Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit' certification.
• Professional training in a technical profession, preferably mechatronics or electrics.
• Relevant experience managing projects.
• Relevant experience complying with local Health and Safety legislation.
• Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and the local language.

The estimated salary for this role is €80,000 - €100,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
