Project Lead (m/f/d) International Defence Programs

Are you a seasoned project manager looking for a new challenge in the international defence sector? Do you have a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget? We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced project lead to join our team at NVL B.V. & Co. KG in Bremen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the overall performance of the PV43-M project across all involved entities
  • Coordinate efforts with NVL Egypt and NVL doo to ensure timely completion, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
  • Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, resolving issues and aligning efforts to meet project goals
  • Monitor project progress, manage budget and schedule, and develop regular progress reports to NVL BV
  • Provide strategic steer and support to NVL Egypt and NVL doo during on-site execution of the project
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and expedite project delivery
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project performance and ensure objectives are met
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
  • PMP or IPMA certification preferred, along with additional training in people management
  • Advanced analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, with a deep understanding of program management techniques
  • Strong cost awareness, proven leadership abilities, and a solution-oriented mindset
  • Over 8 years of professional experience in project management roles, particularly within the international defence sector
  • At least 5 years of experience managing complex multinational programs with budgets exceeding €150 million
  • Experience in shipbuilding or aviation preferred, with a background in governmental programs and emerging organizations being advantageous
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and common software applications (ERP systems)
  • A collaborative and participative leadership style, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in dynamic environments
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Demonstrated flexibility, resilience under pressure, and a willingness to travel frequently
  • Frequent travel to Croatia and Egypt is required
