About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented student to join our team at Siemens Energy as a Power Systems Conversion Specialist. As a key member of our Grid Technologies Business Unit, you will be responsible for converting models from DIgSILENT PowerFactory to PSCAD.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement automated model conversion scripts using existing tools and libraries
  • Design and execute automated test procedures to compare original models with converted PSCAD models
  • Evaluate and present project results to the team
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high-quality model conversions

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related field
  • Excellent academic record and relevant knowledge in electrical power systems and control systems
  • Experience with power system simulation tools, such as DIgSILENT PowerFactory and PSCAD
  • Proficiency in Python programming
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Fluent English language skills
