Job Summary
The Universität Hamburg is seeking a highly skilled Research Associate in Atmospheric Turbulence and Boundary Layers to join our team. As a Research Associate, you will be part of the working group "Atmospheric Turbulence and Boundary Layers" and will be responsible for conducting research in the field of atmospheric science, fluid mechanics, and turbulence.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research in cloud-turbulence interaction, convection, stratified turbulence, and near-surface turbulence
- Pursue independent research and further academic qualifications
- Teach and develop curricula for undergraduate and graduate students
- Collaborate with colleagues to advance research and teaching goals
Requirements
- University degree in a relevant field plus doctorate
- Good knowledge of atmospheric science, fluid mechanics, and turbulence
- Proficiency in parallel programming, data analysis, and high-performance computing
- Demonstrated experience in publishing results and good communication skills
