About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Director of Product Management to lead our product organization and strategy. In this role, you will oversee the development and implementation of a comprehensive conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategy, drive the discovery phase of new features, and optimize our booking funnels for maximum efficiency and conversion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Champion the discovery phase of product development, identify customer needs, conduct interviews, and create problem spaces for product managers to explore.
  • Lead the development and implementation of a CRO strategy, overseeing all stages of the product lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring continuous optimization.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Design to ensure product development initiatives are closely integrated with overall business strategies.
  • Develop and lead a team of multiple Product Managers, supporting them as a mentor and empowering them to grow together.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for CRO activities, establish a framework for ongoing monitoring, and communicate progress and insights to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Senior/Manager level of experience in product management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role overseeing product teams.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and scaling product management teams, with a history of delivering user-centric solutions that drive significant business growth and improve conversion rates.
  • Deep understanding of product development processes, agile methodologies, and experience with event-driven, microservices architecture.
  • Strong strategic planning skills, including the ability to develop product roadmaps, allocate resources effectively, and use data-driven decision-making to steer product direction.
  • A passion for improving user experience and a proven ability to conduct customer interviews, define problem spaces, and focus on delivering customer value.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a track record of leading continuous improvement initiatives and driving innovation.
  • Experience working in a global context and understanding diverse market needs is a plus.
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
