About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Engineering Director to lead our Engineering and Product Development teams at Kaufland e-commerce. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the technical vision and strategy for our platform, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and services that meet the needs of our customers.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of engineering managers and engineers to deliver high-quality products and services
  • Develop and implement technical strategies and roadmaps to drive business growth and innovation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication
  • Make strategic decisions on technology investments, architecture, and infrastructure
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services that meet customer needs and expectations
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and vendors
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improvement

Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in engineering leadership roles, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality products and services
  • Proven experience in leading and managing large teams of engineers and engineering managers
  • Strong technical expertise in software development, architecture, and infrastructure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
