PhD Research Opportunity in Data-Driven User Experience

We are seeking a highly motivated PhD researcher to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative data-driven solutions for user experience.

About the Project

The successful candidate will work on a PhD thesis project focused on data science, user feedback mining, machine learning, and deep learning. The project aims to develop and validate KPIs for quantifying the value-add of combined analysis of explicit user feedback and implicit usage tracking data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analysis and comparison of best-in-class data analytics tools in the market
  • Identification of appropriate use cases for Siemens business
  • Identification of opportunities for improving user experience through analysis of user and usage feedback data
  • Definition of scientific hypotheses and synthesis of gained insights into solutions
Requirements
  • M.Sc. degree in computer science, mathematics, or natural science with a strong background in artificial intelligence or data analysis
  • Basic knowledge of machine learning and deep learning algorithms
  • Proven experience in scripting languages (e.g. Python) and well-known AI libraries
  • Good teamwork and communication skills, as well as independent and structured work habits
  • Business fluency in German and English
