We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Compliance and Immigration Manager to join our team at GUS Germany GmbH. As a key member of our International Affairs Office, you will play a critical role in ensuring the provision of visa support to our students and compliance with all necessary visa regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain accurate records of student visa applications, renewals, and cancellations.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to ensure compliance with German immigration laws and regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to students, responding to their queries and concerns related to visa and compliance matters.
- Collaborate with our partnership with SERS-RA GmbH to provide immigration support services to students.
- Correspond with German authorities to resolve any visa-related issues.
- Direct line management of Visa and Compliance/International Affairs Officers.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of German immigration laws and regulations.
- Liaise with German embassies abroad upon request.
- Proven experience in immigration and compliance management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Native or near-native level of German.
- Excellent language skills in English.
