JT International Germany GmbH is seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Manager to join our Quality Assurance Laboratory team in Trier, Germany.
About the Role:The IT Systems Manager will be responsible for the maintenance and improvement of the QIMS software application, a suite of software modules covering material specification management, test scope management, online data acquisition, and relevant derived calculation for measurement results.
Key Responsibilities:- Responsible for QIMS application instances for all QA laboratories in different locations
- Responsible for QIMS security, configuration, maintenance setup, and continuous improvement to ensure an efficient and reliable operation according to current and future business processes
- Gathering business requirements concerning new/revised business processes in QIMS, validation of functional requirements, configuration, testing, and final implementation in the QIMS production environment
- Implementation of new business processes in QIMS for QA and relevant related processes in pilot plant and GSC locations
- Coordination of all QIMS power users and the BTS-Quality team to ensure detailed and relevant documentation of requirements, follow-up on software application development stages, acceptance testing, and implementation of all future business processes
- Implementation of online data collection for QA laboratory instruments
- Creation of new analysis reports with the ART (Advanced Reporting Tool) QIMS module
- 1st level support for the QIMS user community and supervision of data correction in QIMS
- University degree in Computer Science or a related technical/scientific field
- Sound working experience in similar roles, including development and/or administration of complex SQL database applications
- Strong knowledge in online data acquisition, data management, and SQL-based advanced reporting
- Good knowledge of SAP business processes designed for specification management and production plants
- Sound analytical capabilities and fluency in English, written and spoken
- Above-average pay including 13th and 14th monthly salary and bonus as well as annual reviews
