IT Systems Manager Quality Assurance Laboratory

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Manager to join our Quality Assurance Laboratory team in Trier, Germany. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our QIMS software application, ensuring its efficient and reliable operation in accordance with current and future business processes.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Manage QIMS application instances for all QA laboratories in different locations
- Ensure QIMS security, configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement
- Gather business requirements, validate functional requirements, and implement new business processes in QIMS
- Coordinate with QIMS power users and the BTS-Quality team to ensure detailed documentation and successful implementation of new business processes
- Implement online data collection for QA laboratory instruments and create new analysis reports using the ART QIMS module
- Provide 1st level support for the QIMS user community and supervise data correction in QIMS
- University degree in Computer Science or a related technical/scientific field
- Sound working experience in similar roles, including development and/or administration of complex SQL database applications
- Strong knowledge in online data acquisition, data management, and SQL-based advanced reporting
- Good knowledge of SAP business processes designed for specification management and production plants
- Sound analytical capabilities, fluency in English, and business knowledge of cigarette production processes as an advantage
