Job Title: Director Central Services

FLOCERT, a leading global certification body, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Director Central Services. This position is a key member of the leadership team, responsible for leading the departments of Accounting, Controlling, Human Resources, Legal, and Procurement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and support the department leads in their daily operations and further development
  • Provide competent support and sparring partner for the Managing Director and peer Directors in financial, legal, and commercial matters
  • Ensure alignment of Central Services departmental strategies with the FLOCERT strategy and other sub-strategies
  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc reportings to the Managing Director, oversight bodies, and shareholder
  • Prepare strategic plans, including budget planning, business cases, and investment measures
  • Monitor and control liquidity
  • Define improvement projects and further develop existing structures and processes in Central Services
  • Closely cooperate with external stakeholders, such as auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions
Requirements:
  • University degree in business administration or law
  • Profound and recent professional experience in the areas of responsibility, ideally in an international context
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills
  • Convincing and motivating leader with above-average intercultural and communication skills
  • Great team player with a positive and proactive attitude and a 'getting things done' mentality
  • High affinity for business digitalization and transformation
  • Experience with financial statements according to German Commercial Code (HGB)
  • Fluency in German and English, both verbal and written, is a must
