Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technical Product Designer Apprentice to join our team at Viega GmbH & Co. KG. As a Technical Product Designer Apprentice, you will play a crucial role in creating detailed drawings and specifications for our products, working closely with our design and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and develop technical drawings and specifications for our products, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new products, improving existing ones, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct quality control checks, measurements, and evaluations to ensure products meet our high standards.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, technical guides, and other relevant materials.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our products and processes.
  • Participate in design reviews, providing constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including design, engineering, and production teams.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of technical drawing and design principles, including CAD software and design tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
