About the Role:

Viega GmbH & Co. KG is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Product Management Trainee to join our team. As a Product Management Trainee, you will play a key role in the development and implementation of strategic and operational initiatives in product management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with various departments within Corporate Technology and key interface areas to drive business growth and innovation.
  • Design and develop strategic and operational initiatives in product management, aligning with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Assume project-related tasks for process and method optimization within product management, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • Support the development of portfolio strategies for Viega's various product areas, analyzing market trends and customer needs.
  • Conduct analysis, conception, and workshop-based teamwork to continuously develop the product portfolio, ensuring it meets customer demands and market requirements.
  • Prepare decision templates and present results within the team, ensuring data-driven decision making.

Requirements:

  • Completed degree in engineering or business engineering.
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
  • High level of communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Flexible and open to new challenges, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Ideal candidate will have initial relevant practical experience in innovation or product management through internships.
  • Excellent German and English language skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
