Job Title: Lean Operations Specialist
Hailiang Metal Europe is a prominent player in the metal industry, focusing on the production and distribution of high-quality metal products.
Job Overview:
- Lead and oversee Lean initiatives within the organization, including workshops and mentoring sessions.
- Identify and eliminate inefficiencies in production, logistics, and administrative processes through targeted improvement projects.
- Work collaboratively with diverse, cross-functional teams, including international partners.
- Facilitate and engage in corporate efficiency enhancement programs.
- Assess potential continuous improvement initiatives based on their feasibility and expected benefits.
- Maintain ongoing project oversight, including the preparation of key performance indicators related to continuous improvement efforts.
- Generate reports for both internal and external communication purposes.
- Develop training resources to support the implementation of new manufacturing techniques and software.
- Design, standardize, and refine shop floor management practices.
Qualifications:
- Degree in (industrial) engineering or a related field.
- Proficient understanding of continuous improvement methodologies, including KAIZEN and Lean Management, along with project management skills.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in process optimization and project management.
- Strong analytical capabilities, confident communication skills, and a professional demeanor.
- High level of problem-solving orientation, process insight, and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptable to change with a strategic mindset and entrepreneurial vision.
- Fluency in English to facilitate regular communication with international project teams.
