Prototype Security Investigator, Amazon Device Security

Job Summary
The Amazon Corporate Security team is seeking an experienced Investigator to join its Prototype Security team. This role will involve developing, implementing, and leading security projects and programs to support Amazon's device teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough investigations into device losses and unauthorized disclosures, gathering relevant information and analyzing findings to identify root causes.
- Conduct security risk and vulnerability assessments to design mitigation strategies and reduce further loss of devices and intellectual property.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key business teams to foster an engagement model that ensures security has a seat at the table.
- Write reports to evaluate and analyze metrics collected to support risk-based prioritization of recommended solutions.
- Lead in the development of security education materials and conduct training sessions to promote security awareness.
About the Team
The Amazon Devices Organization designs and engineers high-profile consumer electronics, including the Kindle family of products and devices like Fire tablets, Fire TV, and Amazon Echo. This role will have a global reach and focus to ensure consistent prototype security investigations are provided and executed to all prototypes reported as lost or misplaced.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in conducting security, fraud, or insider threat investigations.
- 3+ years of experience using a case management system and data analysis software.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification is preferred.
