As a Construction Area Manager, you will ensure the compliant execution of complex EPC projects or sub-projects comprehensively for specific areas of plants and factories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for the construction management of industrial high-tech projects
  • Overall responsibility for timely, high-quality, and cost-effective construction execution within a section of the building or fire compartment
  • First point of contact for our customers, providing technical advice, conducting meetings, and corresponding with subcontractors
  • Leading the project team and subcontractors
  • Scheduling and monitoring construction progress
  • Ensuring compliance with EHS regulations
  • Conducting site inspections and inspections for acceptance
  • Recording defects and tracking defect resolution progress

Requirements

  • Relevant qualification in construction (e.g., master's or technician qualification), or a completed degree in civil engineering, architecture, building services engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification
  • Proven experience in construction supervision across various trades on large-scale projects
  • Experience in industrial or plant construction, particularly within the semiconductor or battery industry is preferred, but not required
  • Excellent knowledge of building codes, local regulations and standards
  • Willingness to travel within D-A-CH region and to stay on site for 5 days during project assignments
  • Intercultural competence, teamwork, and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken (at least B2 level) to ensure effective communication with German-speaking staff and authorities
  • German driver's license class B
