About the RoleThis exciting opportunity is part of our Consulting department dedicated to Investment Fund and Asset Management Industry. You will have the chance to work on current challenges and serve clients with tailor-made solutions.
Your Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage client engagements covering all aspects of a ManCo/AIFM's operations, focusing on risk management, compliance, valuation, portfolio management, and oversight of delegates.
- Guide clients through regulatory-driven transformations and licensing initiatives, designing target operating models that enhance risk governance and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Contribute to business development and visibility campaigns, producing proposals and client presentation materials emphasizing effective risk management strategies.
- Act as a Trusted Advisor for Senior Management of leading players in the Management Companies and Alternative Investment landscape, offering insights on risk management frameworks and operational efficiencies best practices.
- Supervise all aspects of client engagements, mentor junior colleagues, and ensure client satisfaction by providing quality reviews and monitoring engagement economics through the lens of risk oversight.
- A Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Management, or similar fields.
- Between 4 and 6 years of relevant experience in risk management and operations within the Investment Fund and Asset Management Industry.
- The consulting mindset and fast-paced work environment are essential. You should be an orchestrator with the ability to develop a roadmap toward risk-informed decision-making.
- A recognized subject matter expert in ManCo/AIFM arrangements and established network of industry professionals for insights into risk-related developments.
- A business-driven, agile, and pragmatic mindset to balance regulatory compliance with operational efficiency while managing associated risks effectively.
- A strong command of fundamental regulatory topics and understanding critical areas of regulatory scrutiny concerning risk factors.
- Necessary soft skills to build relationships with clients and develop team members with a focus on risk awareness.
- A strong command of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Fluency in English; French and/or German would be considered a strong asset.
We estimate the salary for this position to be around €65,000 - €90,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
