About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Engineer to join our team at Remote. As a Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our backend systems, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and reliable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop backend systems using Elixir and Phoenix
  • Work with our team to identify and prioritize features and improvements
  • Collaborate with our frontend team to ensure seamless integration with our React and Nextjs applications
  • Develop and maintain our Postgres database, ensuring data integrity and performance
  • Contribute to the development of our CI/CD pipeline and deployment processes

Requirements
  • Significant experience as a Backend Engineer, with a strong background in Elixir and Postgres
  • Ability to work independently and self-guided, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn and develop, with a passion for innovation and problem-solving
