Our goal is to make a positive contribution to combating the world hunger crisis in times of climate change.

We are looking for a highly skilled Backend Developer to join our international team at our Potsdam headquarters. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-volume data applications using Laravel and PHP for web application development.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design and develop high-volume data applications using Laravel and PHP
* Implement cloud technologies, CI/CD Pipeline, Docker, GitHub, and Laravel Sail for consistent development environments
* Ensure strong understanding of SQL databases and data formats, including JSON and CSV with metadata
* Collaborate with our team to plan and execute project migration across different tech stacks

Requirements:

* Master's or bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technologies, or similar
* Extensive experience with Laravel and PHP for web application development
* Expertise in cloud technologies, CI/CD Pipeline, Docker, GitHub, and Laravel Sail
* Strong understanding of SQL databases and data formats, including JSON and CSV with metadata
* Proficiency in Linux (Ubuntu) server administration for reliable and secure operations

Nice to Have:

* Knowledge of React and front-end development
* Knowledge of AWS, Terraform, and cloud storage solutions (e.g., S3)
