Key Responsibilities:- Lead and mentor a team of direct buyers to establish procurement excellence
- Develop commodity strategies for direct material procurement
- Collaborate with engineering teams to find technical solutions and negotiate contracts with suppliers
- Run and evaluate RFI/RFQs, negotiate contracts, and ensure continuous contract management
- Source flying material and lead negotiations with suppliers while developing and maintaining relationships
- Implement processes, methods, and tools to deliver continuous cost improvements
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in procurement or supplier management with a focus on direct procurement
- Solid track record in implementing commodity strategies, contract management, and process implementation
- Pioneering spirit, ability to collaborate, and work cross-functionally and cross-culturally
- Master's degree in Economics, Business, Engineering, or similar
- Good command of MS-Office and ERP, preferably MS Dynamics 365 Business Central - Navision ERP
- Excellent command of spoken and written English, as well as German language skills
