Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Bioprocess Specialist to join our network of freelancers and work on innovative projects across Germany's pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, optimize, and scale up bioprocesses for the production of biopharmaceuticals, vaccines, and other biologics, ensuring high efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
- Manage and improve supply chain processes to ensure seamless production, from raw material sourcing to final product distribution.
- Collaborate with R&D, quality control, and production teams to implement robust manufacturing processes that meet GMP and regulatory requirements.
- Lead technology transfer initiatives from R&D to manufacturing, ensuring smooth scale-up and commercialization.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to bioprocessing and supply chain operations, driving continuous improvement in production efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor and analyze production data to optimize yields, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in bioprocessing and supply manufacturing within the Life Sciences industry (pharma, biotech, or medical devices).
- Proven ability to work independently as a freelancer, with excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in German is a strong asset.
- Willingness to travel within Germany for on-site process optimization and project management.
