About the Role

Via is revolutionizing transportation by harnessing technology to transform the way people move around the world. As an Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operational flow of our on-demand public transport services in the Frankfurt region.

You will be the primary point of contact for our local team and partners, driving projects to centralize and automate processes, and working towards achieving key performance indicators. This role is also known as Field Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of our public transport services, ensuring high-quality passenger transport.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to achieve revenue and quality targets.
  • Lead the local field team to establish operationally stable and scalable processes.
  • Work closely with central operations teams to maintain excellent quality of service.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for improvement based on passenger, driver, and partner feedback.
  • Contribute to the expansion of Via's service, focusing on topics like depot establishment, charging infrastructure, driver recruitment, and vehicle equipping.
Requirements
  • At least 4 years of experience, with a proven track record of leadership and team development.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a positive leadership personality.
  • Ability to balance competing needs and find solutions to complex issues.
  • Passionate about continuous improvement, with a data-driven approach.
  • Fluent German language skills (C1 level) and English language proficiency.
  • Valid driver's license in Germany (class B).
