Job Title: Business Development Manager - EKA

Description

The European Key Accounts (EKA) Team at Brambles is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to enable iconic brands to seamlessly connect with people in a sustainable way. As a key member of the team, you will partner with the European Key Account Director to maintain exceptional customer experiences through account health management, negotiation, retention strategies, and growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage a portfolio of EKA customers with revenue exceeding $50M in EMENA, spanning over 20 countries.
  2. Interact with internal and external stakeholders to ensure clear visibility, increase potential business, and maintain acceptable BVA ratios and account profitability.
  3. Develop and manage customer Joint Business Plans (JBP) with detailed action plans, tracking actual vs. target savings, and leading JBP projects.
  4. Identify and develop new service and product opportunities, innovations, and growth strategies to enhance business relationships.
  5. Prepare and coordinate customer tenders, support local markets in managing growth opportunities, and implement new business.
  6. Share best practices within the customer organization and EKA community, coordinate NPS surveys, and translate feedback into action plans.
  7. Build and maintain a European-wide network internally and externally with customers, ensuring compliance with company policies and government legislation.
  8. Work independently across broad national and cultural environments, managing time pressure and changing priorities while maintaining control.
  9. Monitor total activity within the customer, providing a complete view of the JBP, and manage specific and standard monthly reporting.
  10. Coordinate EKAM activities, including monthly/bimonthly calls, notes, and support to EKAD in meeting and presentation preparations, business reviews, and credit management.
  11. Ensure audit planning, coordination, and completion, monitoring European performance, anticipating potential issues, and communicating with customers.
Requirements
  1. Strong knowledge of sales processes and methodologies, with creativity in lead generation and the efficient use of CRM tools.
  2. Strong solution selling and value-based selling skills, experience in selling and consistently exceeding targets, ideally within the supply chain logistics space.
  3. Ability to ideate with customers, identify value propositions, and develop positive business outcomes.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and CHEP e-tools, including Siebel and SAP/BW.
  5. Fluent English is essential, with desirable fluency in an EU language.
  6. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Management.
