Hydraulic Service Specialist

We are looking for a skilled professional to join our team as a Hydraulic Service Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert support to our customers in the field of hydraulic systems, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair. Your tasks will include:
- Implementing hydraulic measurements and problem-solving at customer sites
- Troubleshooting complex hydraulic systems across all SMS group centers of competence
- Supporting the Center of Excellence Technical Service in implementing hydraulic projects
- Proactively transferring knowledge to SMS regions to expand service activities
- Proactively transferring customer problem-solving experiences to product management
- Collaborating with universities and partners to develop the hydraulic service portfolio
- Active participation in developing service tools and methods
- Independent evaluation of potential and creation of patent and development applications
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- A technical degree or a technical apprenticeship with a further education to become a technician, or relevant work experience in hydraulic systems
- Experience in the production and processing of steel and non-ferrous metals is desirable
- Ability to read and analyze hydraulic controls
- Secure sales and negotiation methods
- Good English language skills in writing and speaking
- Worldwide travel readiness
- Self-organization and self-responsibility
