Electrical Engineer for Public Infrastructure Projects

Land Niedersachsen is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Engineer to contribute to our team of experts in managing public infrastructure projects.

As an integral member of our construction department, you will play a key role in overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of diverse projects across various stages. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring that all projects adhere to strict regulations, maintain high quality standards, and are delivered within budget and on schedule.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage challenging construction projects for public properties, encompassing new constructions, renovations, and expansions.
  • Collaborate effectively with freelance architecture and engineering firms to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Provide expert technical advice and opinions throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Plan, tender, execute, and finalize construction services in accordance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
  • Implement rigorous quality control measures to guarantee adherence to specifications and standards.
  • Monitor project progress closely, ensuring timely completion and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in construction phases 1-9 is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in computerized scheduling and cost control software.
  • Exceptional organizational and negotiation skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Fluency in at least C1 level language skills.
  • Valid driver's license (Class B) and willingness to travel for project site visits.
