Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Ruby on Rails API Developer to join our development team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in advancing our established Rails API and implementing new features.

Responsibilities
  • Advance our established Rails API (Rails 7, Mysql, Memcached, Redis, Rspec, Github)
  • Implement new features
  • Evaluate and improve existing code
  • Be part of our agile planning process
  • Guide the development team with your experience and knowledge
Requirements
  • In-depth knowledge of Ruby on Rails (at least 4 years of uninterrupted professional experience)
  • Comfortable developing complex features with complex requirements
  • Openness to new technologies in the Rails ecosystem (Strada, Turbo, etc.)
  • Motivated to work in remote setups, with the ability to work with our CTO in Hamburg, Germany
  • Native German speaker and fluent in English
