We are seeking a highly skilled User Assistance Developer to join our SAP S/4HANA Cloud for Product Compliance Team in Markdorf. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality documentation resources for our customers, working closely with our development team to ensure seamless integration and user experience.
Key Responsibilities- Develop user assistance deliverables, including terminology, UI texts, guides, multimedia, scripts, context-sensitive help, and API references.
- Test software to ensure accuracy and usability.
- Contribute to the usability of software by reviewing UI screens and texts.
- Structure content and select distribution channels according to target group information needs.
- Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to improve documentation quality.
- Prepare content for delivery, including metadata, following standard processes and SAP guidelines.
- Participate in cross-department/cross-company communities and projects to improve UA tools, processes, concepts, or content.
- Fluency in English and German.
- Practical experience in creating product documentation, preferably XML authoring or DITA.
- Excellent communication skills, a passion for people, and passing on knowledge to others.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Willingness to quickly acquire knowledge in new areas and adapt to change.
- Committed to high-quality work.
- Degree in languages, technical writing, or a related profession.
- Background in software development is considered an advantage.
