About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Developer to join our team at SAP. As a Software Developer, you will play a key role in the development of our cloud solutions, working closely with our cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deliver high-quality software applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop software components and services using agile engineering practices
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify improvements and innovations in development processes and methodologies
  • Work in an international, agile product development environment
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software applications
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards

Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • Excellent skills in object-oriented programming, tools, and platforms (Java, JavaScript/UI5, Node.js, Git, Deployment Pipeline, RDBMS, Cloud Foundry)
  • Experience in Fiori, Fiori Elements, CDS-views is a plus
  • Good knowledge in software design patterns and software engineering like microservices, message queuing, or API design
  • Ability to work in an international, agile product development environment
  • Strong analytical and architectural skills
  • Ability to easily acquire deep understanding in new areas and technologies and act as a multiplier
  • Good written and verbal communication skills; fluent Business English and German
  • Experience in product development and IT integration will be considered as an advantage
  • Minimum years 3 (and 5 years in case of a Senior) software development experience
