About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Software Developer to join our team at SAP. As a key member of our S/4HANA Cloud for product compliance team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing complete end-to-end software parts.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement software solutions that meet the needs of our customers and align with SAP's sustainability vision.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software solutions.
- Develop and maintain high-quality software applications that meet the requirements of our customers.
- Participate in agile development environments and contribute to the improvement of development processes and methodologies.
- Mentor junior developers and help them improve their technical skills.
Requirements
- Degree in computer science or related discipline or equivalent practical experience.
- Multiple years of experience in software development.
- Excellent programming knowledge in object-oriented programming (Java, ABAP OO...) and complex web technology frameworks based on JavaScript.
- Excellent knowledge in software design patterns and software engineering.
- Ability to work in an agile development environment.
- Strong analytical and architectural skills.
- Experience in cloud technologies will be considered as an advantage.
- Ability to easily acquire deep understanding in new areas and technologies.
- Self-motivated and efficient team player with ability to learn and adapt quickly.
- Constructive and open style of communication with teammates and partners, as well as with customers and external stakeholders; fluent Business English and German.
