About the Role
The Associate Quality Assurance Manager - Post Market Surveillance will play a crucial role in leading the Complaint Management for medical devices, monitoring product performance in the field, and collaborating with a team that prioritizes patient safety and customer focus.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of Quality Engineers and Specialists in the Post Market Surveillance department at our site in Freiburg.
- Be responsible for the Complaint Management of medical devices from the Instruments division, including Craniomaxillofacial and ENT devices, while monitoring their performance in the market and meeting regulatory requirements.
- Ensure that the Complaint Process meets the highest quality standards in our patient-centric environment.
- Collaborate closely with global partners from R&D, Clinical, Production, and other quality functions to drill down to the root causes of reported events.
- Navigate and set up the team for success to proactively respond to emerging adverse trends or quality issues that may occur in the field.
Requirements
- Hold a BS (or equivalent) in Engineering, Science, or a related degree.
- Have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a regulated environment, such as a Quality, Regulatory, or Clinical function.
- Have gained 2+ years of direct people management experience or equivalent mentorship experience, including setting priorities and providing performance feedback for team members.
- Be a strong collaborator and communicator, able to partner with other functions to drive common success.
- Have the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Have English and German language skills to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders on a global basis.

Thanks to our flexible working hours model, you will have the opportunity to work partially from the home office.
