Sustainability Specialist

CRONIMET, a global leader in stainless steel scrap, ferroalloys, and primary metals, is seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Specialist to join their team. With a presence on six continents and approximately 70 branches, subsidiaries, and representations, the company is committed to reducing its environmental footprint.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement CRONIMET's climate strategy, ensuring alignment with global sustainability goals.
- Manage CO2 data collection and reporting across the group, providing insights for informed decision-making.
- Contribute to the development of CRONIMET's sustainability strategy, ensuring its effective implementation and monitoring.
- Coordinate sustainability reporting and compliance with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).
- Administer sustainability software for ESG criteria management and reporting, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Lead sustainability projects autonomously, driving innovation and best practices within the organization.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, with a focus on sustainability.
- Proven experience in the sustainability field, with a strong understanding of current trends and challenges.
- Excellent communication, assertiveness, teamwork, and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and proactively.
- Fluency in German and English, with international experience and intercultural competence highly desirable.
