Role Overview:

The Lead Legal Advisor will deliver comprehensive legal guidance and manage a wide array of legal responsibilities. This position will support the General Counsel EMEA in addressing legal, compliance, and corporate governance issues across the organization, including the review and drafting of contracts and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. This dynamic and high-profile role is ideal for a proactive and experienced professional eager to tackle new challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic legal advice on contracts, supplier and customer negotiations, and risk management.
  • Draft and negotiate commercial agreements with clients, suppliers, and service providers.
  • Advise on contract enforcement, disputes, supplier quality issues, and contract transitions.
  • Identify and assess legal and business risks associated with opportunities, ensuring compliance with relevant laws.
  • Support M&A activities, litigation, and compliance initiatives.
  • Conduct training sessions for purchasing, sales, and marketing teams on various legal topics.
  • Assist with employment and environmental, health, and safety matters.
  • Contribute to corporate governance efforts.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 10-15 years of legal experience in areas such as contracts, business transactions, M&A, litigation, and employment law.
  • Juris Doctor degree from a reputable institution; active legal registration is required.
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written German and English.

  • Commitment to professionalism and teamwork is essential.

Reporting Structure: The Lead Legal Advisor will report directly to the EMEA General Counsel.
