Job Summary:
Motel One is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Team Leader to oversee the daily operations of our housekeeping department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Department Management: Implement and maintain Motel One's housekeeping standards, ensuring a clean and comfortable environment for our guests.
- Team Coordination: Create and manage duty and vacation schedules for the housekeeping team, ensuring adequate coverage and minimizing disruptions.
- Logistics and Administration: Handle orders and deliveries within the housekeeping department, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Training and Development: Provide internal coaching, cross-training, and organize training sessions to develop the skills and knowledge of the housekeeping staff.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with external cleaning staff and other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience: Educational background in hotel management or relevant work experience in housekeeping, with a proven track record of leadership and team management.
- Leadership and Development: Passion for employee development, prior leadership experience, and a commitment to creating a positive and productive work environment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, service-oriented mindset, and a keen eye for cleanliness and quality.
- Language Skills: Effective communication skills in both German and English, with the ability to communicate complex ideas and instructions clearly.
- Teamwork and Collaboration: A team player with a willingness to collaborate across departments and work towards common goals.
