Forte is a pioneering company in the logistics industry, dedicated to simplifying global trade and achieving climate-neutral operations by 2025. We're seeking an exceptional Finance Manager – Trade & Pricing to join our accomplished team in the Finance department.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Steer operational performance, reporting, and analysis of key performance indicators and business cases
- Develop financial models and ROI estimates for business initiatives, supporting informed decision-making with data-driven insights
- Facilitate operational reviews and control of the trade and operations organization
- Identify and promote innovative ideas, challenging established practices and presenting your thesis to senior management
- Lead programs focused on improving profitability management processes
Your Ideal Profile
- 2-4 years of experience in a similar financial or commercial operations finance role
- A solutions-oriented analytical mindset, strong business acumen, forward thinking, and a continuous improvement mindset
- Attention to detail with the ability to balance the big picture
- Ability to translate strategic concepts into numbers
- Proficiency in spreadsheets and complex modeling, with SQL skills a plus
- An entrepreneurial thinker with a hands-on mentality and the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
- Senior stakeholder management in operations, finance, and business analytics, with the ability to pitch and defend ideas to senior teams
- Proficient English, with German a plus
