Dry Docks Operations Manager

About the Role
Carnival Maritime GmbH, a subsidiary of Carnival Corporation and plc, is seeking a skilled professional to join their team as a Dry Docks Controller. This role is part of the company's marine service unit, serving the brands of AIDA Cruises and Costa Crociere.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Director of Dry Docks and Superintendent in creating and monitoring the dry dock operations budget during preparation and execution.
- Prepare, monitor, and update the dry dock operations budget overview.
- Collaborate with the CMG and finance department during dry dock preparation and execution.
- Work closely with fleet teams, shipyards, and brands to monitor costs during related projects as part of the dry dock program.
- Review, analyze, and negotiate requests for additional costs from shipyards and others during dry dock performance.
- Participate in yard times as part of the dry dock team and create reports, statistics, control, and analysis of yard processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in project management or a commercial field, preferably with a background in the marine or cruise industry.
- At least 2 years of experience in ship handling or shipyard business.
- Shipboard experience is an asset.
- Proficient IT skills in MS Office and project management.
- Experience working in a team and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Very good knowledge of the English language (English is the company language).
