Hotel Operations Manager

Carnival Maritime GmbH, a part of Carnival Corporation and plc, is seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the position of Hotel Operations Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of hotel facilities and technical maintenance on our cruise ships.
Key Responsibilities- Manage hotel F&I and technical maintenance, including budgets and spare parts management
- Report daily to the Fleet Team on the status of vessels under your responsibility
- Ensure correct planning and timely execution of hotel technical and F&I operations, including maintenance, improvements, and technical modifications
- Drive safety and environmental protection culture in close cooperation with vessels and shore-based departments
- Manage hotel F&I and hotel technical dry dock activities, including budget forecasting and control
- Efficiently plan and manage projects and activities
- Manage the service process from technical specification to completion, including qualitative controls of the service delivered
- Schedule, prioritize, and organize work following company processes
- Carry out hotel technical and F&I inspections of ships according to company procedure and policy
- Manage follow-up on issues reported by ships and brands managers
- Execute projects related to capital expenditures under your area of responsibility
- Plan, manage, and supervise the Travelling Riding Team according to specific work schedules
- Degree in Naval Engineering, Naval Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Interior Design
- Professional training in design or technical engineering desirable
- At least 3 years of experience in the cruise sector or equivalent
- Data analysis skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- AutoCAD reader skills
- Technical drawing reading and understanding
- Good management and leadership skills for projects
- Strong organization, delegation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and structured work approach
- Shore-based experience preferred
- Very good English language skills
