About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head of IoT Engineering to lead our AIoT engineering teams and drive excellence in technology development and people management.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, technical leadership, and people management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects and leading high-performing teams.

The Head of IoT Engineering will be responsible for defining and executing the product roadmap, setting objectives, prioritizing tasks, and managing resources to ensure timely delivery.

They will also provide technical guidance to ensure alignment with technology standards, oversee IoT system development to ensure scalability, reliability, and security, and tackle technical problems hands-on when necessary.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of AIoT technologies, including Deep Learning, Machine Learning, and Computer Vision, and experience working with large IoT fleets.

They will also have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve their best.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow AIoT engineering teams
  • Define and execute the product roadmap
  • Provide technical guidance and oversight
  • Manage resources and prioritize tasks
  • Tackle technical problems and ensure timely delivery

Requirements

  • 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering
  • 5+ years of post-graduation work experience, with 1+ years in people management
  • Experience in product engineering or R&D, and technical leadership or people management
  • Strong understanding of AIoT technologies, including Deep Learning, Machine Learning, and Computer Vision
  • Experience working with large IoT fleets
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
