About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Rating & Credit Analyst to join our team at Deutsche Bank. As a key member of our Global Credit Analytics Function (GCAF), you will be responsible for providing expert analysis and recommendations on credit and rating matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assume full responsibility for the credit and rating coverage of a client portfolio, spanning a diversity of business models as per GCAF standards.
  • Manage limits, excesses, data accuracy, and credit profile with a proper credit recommendation.
  • Ensure financial spreads, market data, peer analysis, cash flow models, and forecasts are delivered in time and meet highest quality expectations.
  • Approve Ratings in 4-eyes or committee decisions and exercise Credit Approval, subject to approval right/credit authority granted by Senior Management.
  • Participate in GCAF projects deliveries and training programs for junior team members, displaying the ability and willingness to share knowledge through on-the-job or classroom trainings.

Requirements

  • Vocational qualifications in banking or a university degree, possibly complemented by advanced qualifications (MSc, MA, MBA, etc.), evidencing well-developed analytical abilities with attention to detail, specifically in accounting and financial statement analysis.
  • Several years of working experience within the financial service industry, e.g., as a research specialist or analyst in a bank or rating agency, where you developed knowledge of economics, financial markets, and a firm grasp of industry trends.
  • Multi-lingual: A strong command of English (written and spoken), complemented by proficient reading knowledge of at least one European (German, Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French or one of Swedish/Danish/Norwegian) or Asian (Chinese, Japanese or Korean) language.
  • Display an entrepreneurial mindset with a high level of integrity as well as a keen sense of initiative, responsibility, creativity.
  • Finely honed organizational and time management skills as well as the ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Ideally you would contribute a deep knowledge of DB's relevant IT systems and applications from a user and technology perspective.
