Senior Liquidity Risk Manager

At Uniper, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Liquidity Risk Manager to join our team in Düsseldorf. As a key member of our Credit Risk team, you will be responsible for leading the newly structured Düsseldorf-based team for Liquidity Risk, steering the liquidity risk process for commodity positions of the Uniper group.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive liquidity risk governance framework across functions
  • Facilitate the understanding and modelling of liquidity risks across the portfolio to gain an adequate quantification of the capital requirements and associated costs
  • Monitor liquidity risks for the Uniper group, understand and explain the liquidity risks to various stakeholders
  • Communicate effectively across various committees and actively advise on relevant decision making within Uniper's Risk management community and other governance bodies

Your Profile

  • University degree in business, finance, economics, mathematics, or related field
  • Several years of experience in Risk/Liquidity management or Treasury within an investment bank or energy trading company
  • Proven expertise in quantitative risk methodologies, stress testing, and risk framework development
  • Strong team player with experience of working in an international and multicultural team, with the ability to cultivate strong positive working relationships internally and externally
