About the RoleThe Technical Sales Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day technical and sales engagement with semiconductor fab customers across Europe. This role requires a deep understanding of the semiconductor industry, as well as the ability to connect customers' unmet needs with DuPont's offerings in cleans, slurries, and etchants products.
Key Responsibilities- Champion customer advocacy, representing their needs within DuPont.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers across various levels and functions.
- Identify and address unmet customers' needs with DuPont's products.
- Acquire in-depth knowledge of DuPont's products and stay current with technological advancements.
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to drive revenue growth.
- Collaborate closely with internal DuPont teams.
- Manage and own customer communications on behalf of DuPont.
- Travel regularly to customer sites to understand customers' needs and market situations.
- Fluency in English is a must; German is an added value.
- Bachelor's degree in science and engineering, preferably in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of technical or commercial experience in the semiconductor industry, preferably in wet cleans, wet etchants, or CMP slurries.
- Flexibility to travel within Europe, focusing primarily on Germany and particularly the Dresden area.
- Ability to work independently from home with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment and network with peers.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills with customers and internal stakeholders.
